Review: BECCA Radiant Glow Collection

A few weeks ago I picked up the BECCA Radiant Glow Collection at Ulta Beauty and I haven’t been able to put it down. Okay, slight exaggeration , but trust me, the products in this set really do provide a radiant glow. This is my first time using BECCA products and I must say, I’m pretty impressed. BECCA has become known for their spectacular highlighters and this kit is no exception. While this doesn’t included the mega-popualr Champagne Pop, it does include the Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Moonstone, a super light pale pearly gold shade that perfectly reflects light. I typically tend to go for highlighters that are more pink, but am so glad I tried this one. The shade is gorgeous and looks amazing on my skin tone. The only downside is that the powder is extremely delicate– just after taking these photos I dropped it on the floor- carpet- and it shattered… heartbreak! I guess that just gives me an excuse to buy the full-sized version 😛

The set also includes an Under Eye Brightening Corrector, which brightens and blurs under eye imperfections. It apply a dab on top of my concealer & it gives a luminous finish without being shimmery or too shiny. Also included is the Shimmering Skin Perfector Spotlight in Opal, which as I’ve played around with more and more I’ve started to really like. The Spotlight is a light golden liquid highlighter that is super sheer and blends easily for a really pretty glow. If I really want to amp up the strobe-factor, I will apply this and then the Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed on top to take my glow to the next level.

The Beach Tint Lip Shimmer Soufflé in Raspberry/Opal is a pretty, creamy lip shade that has a somewhat marbled effect, along with slight shimmer that really makes lips pop. The lip shimmer features brown algae extract, which sounds kind of gross, but actually helps to soften and hydrate lips. I like!

I can be very picky with my makeup, especially my highlighters, but this set is a winner for me. You can find the BECCA Radiant Glow Collection  at Ulta Beauty, for $32.
