Okay, so let me tell you about these OTK boots. I first spotted them at Nordstrom Rack while Christmas shopping in early December. It was the only pair, they were in my size and when I tried them on they fit absolutely perfectly. I have thin legs and finding tall boots like this has always been a struggle- the calfs are usually way to wide for my little chicken legs. So finding these boots were pretty much a dream come true. Only they were $300, which is WAY more than I have ever spent on a pair of shoes. :Sad violin starts to play here: I put them back on the shelf, which was a move that was going to haunt me for the next several weeks.
I could not get those boots off my mind! On a whim, I was back in the same Nordstrom Rack on New Year’s weekend and casually browsed through the shoe section to see if they were still there… they were! At this point I knew it was meant to be and was just going to suck it up and whip out my credit card. Lucky for me, at the register I found out they were on sale, then had an additional markdown and I had a gift card from Christmas. My $300 boots ended up being under $200. Point of my story? These boots freakin’ rock.
