Ah! I can’t believe it’s already July and that this week is Independence Day! For the fourth we are planning a little BBQ– how can you not BBQ on this holiday? Below are a few BBQ recipes I came across that are perfect for the Fourth of July. Happy eats!
Crock Pot BBQ Pulled Pork: I am always pinning recipes from Six Sisters’s Stuff, especially their crock pot recipes. I have tried a few and they did not disappoint. I’ve been dying to try their crock pot BBQ pulled pork— yum!
Potato Salad: A BBQ isn’t a BBQ without the sides. Light on the mayo, punched up with lemon– this is a potato salad recipe I can get down with.
Baked Beans: I haven’t met anyone who doesn’t like baked beans… I don’t think I could be friends with someone who didn’t love baked beans (kidding! Well, kind of). Ree Drummond, the Pioneer Woman made these beans on a recent episode for a 4th of July party– they looked so good and will definitely be a recipe I will be recreating.
Sweet Potato Burgers: For those looking to keep their day meat-free, these maple chipotle sweet potato burgers are a mix of spicy and sweet– topped with fresh lettuce and ripe avocado and I will happily give up a regular ol’ cheeseburger for one of these.
Lemonade: An icy glass of lemonade is a summer staple and these unique flavor infused lemonades will definitely take your BBQ or pool party to the next level. Ginger, watermelon mint, blueberry lavender… how can I choose?!?
What will your Fourth of July menu consist of?
