I was going to comb through the interwebs finding the most perfect Fourth of July recipes when I realized several of them would most likely be coming from my favorite recipe resource (and TV show, I never tire of it!), The Pioneer Woman.
I don’t know if it’s that all Ree’s (yes, we’re on a first-name basis now) recipes are down-home all-American or that I equate ranch living as a 24/7 BBQ, but I do know that her recipes always turn out amazingly delicious. Whether you’re hosting the neighborhood pool party, attending a picnic or potluck, and are at a loss for what to bring, here’s a few firework-worthy dishes:

…And for dessert, skip the has-been flag cakes and go for a Deep Dish Fruit Pizza! Or if you really want a flag design, use strawberries, raspberries and blueberries 😛
Enjoy!
