If you’ve been following along the past couple of weeks then you probably will have noticed that I’ve mentioned the Smashbox Full Exposure Travel Palette a bazillion times, including in my brown smoky eye tutorial. I know, I know, I already have several nude/neutral shaded palettes but I couldn’t help myself when I saw this one. I had put it on my Christmas wish list and Santa made sure it ended up under the tree. Not only is it’s size super convenient, but the neutral, warm shades are perfect. There’s a mix of both shimmery and matte shades– 4 of each to be precise– and all pair together in perfect harmony.
A mini version of the Full Exposure Palette, which has 14 shades for $49, this lil guy packs a lot of punch. The pigmentation of the shadows is fantastic and just what I would expect from Smashbox. The shadows are soft, applying and blending easily. While the top shadows appear super glittery, they’re actually not too crazy on. I’ve also been having fun trying different looks by layering the shimmers over mattes, and make the shimmer shadows pop even more by using a more shimmery base.
At a slightly larger size than the palm of my hand, this mini palette is especially great for on-the-go and for travel. There’s so many different looks you can get from this one palette and at just $22 it is so worth it. Thanks, Santa!
Have you tried this mini palette, or maybe thinking of getting it? Let me know what you think!
