Review: Christie Brinkley CLOSE UP Wrinkle Reducer & Treatment

I was recently introduced to the Christie Brinkley Authentic Skincare CLOSE UP Instant Wrinkle Reducer & Treatment from iFabbo and couldn’t wait to put it to the test! At 61 (no way!), Christie Brinkley herself looks absolutely AMAZING so I have hopes that she knows a thing or two about anti-aging treatments and skin care. Will her CLOSE UP treatment make my skin look smoother,  tighter and ready for my close-up?? Here’s the scoop on this treatment:

According to the website, the Christie Brinkley Authentic Skincare CLOSE UP Instant Wrinkle Reducer & Treatment is an instant treatment that tightens the look of skin while firming and smoothing the appearance of crow’s feet, fine lines, and wrinkles. It is intended as a spot treatment for use around eyes, mouth and on forehead. 

– Immediate sensation of tighter and smoother-looking skin.

– Potent formula maximizes anti-wrinkle effects.

– Smoothes under-eye bags and puffiness.

– Tightens skin on contact and takes years off appearance.

– Lasts for hours and can be reapplied throughout the day.

– Will wash off easily with water and no make-up remover required.

– Breakthrough discovery that tightens skin on contact to take years off appearance.

Key ingredients include Neodermyl™, often found in anti-aging products which according to the website is “a new source of energy to recharge the skin made with copper which plays a significant role in collagen production & maturation, up-regulates collagen I + III & elastin, and re-energizes senescent fibroblasts” and Liftonin®-Xpress, an instant tightening ingredient that immediately works to smooth wrinkles and lines.

For the past month, I have been applying the treatment daily to my eyes, forehead and around lips before I apply my makeup and after I moisturize.While I don’t have wrinkles, I do have lines on my forehead and will sometimes use primer to help fill so I hoped that this treatment would help with that. The product itself leaves a matte ‘film’ on my skin, similar to how a primer would.

At a price tag of $79.95, I can’t say that this product is worth the price, at least not for me. I don’t have wrinkles… yet!… so I can’t speak to that but since using this treatment I haven’t seen much improvement to the lines I do have on my forehead. I do find, however, that the product keeps its promise of instantly tightening the skin and leaving skin feeling smooth, but years off my appearance? Not too sure about that one. Although no one believes that I am 30 so maybe it is working?
