One of my all-time favorite makeup looks is a classic smoky eye. Whether it’s black, grey, brown or deep purples or greens, you can experiment using shadows and liners to have some fun with your smoky eye and the best part about this look? You can’t really mess up- just smudge it out!
Here’s my easy steps to get a smoky eye look:
1. Apply pencil liner to your top lash line– it’s okay if it’s not a perfect line. Take a smudger brush and smudge it up onto your lid.
2. Sweep a dark shadow over your lid and up into the crease. To make the smoky eye standout, I blend a brown eye shadow into my crease. Apply a light shadow shade to brow bone and to inner corners of eyes to highlight.
3. Apply liner to bottom lash line and softly smudge. Apply a couple coats of mascara to finish the look.
Tell me, are you a fan of smoky eyes?
