Flares with Flair

Woohoo! I am in NYC for the rest of the week and finally get to experience some type of fall. I know, we Californians have SO much to complain about with our warm weather woes 😛 Seriously though, I’m excited to be in the city… it’s been almost 5 years since I’ve been here and I can’t wait to get out & about. This girl has been craving some Shake Shack! Even though I’ll be in the city I will be working though… is anyone attending BeautyCon on Saturday? Stop by the Physicians Formula booth and say hi!

Since we’re on the subject of fall, one of the hot denim trends for fall is flare jeans. I believe I was in 6^th and 7^th grade when flares, made popular in the 1970s, made their comeback and were big during the late 90’s. Then it became all about boot-cut styles, low-rise fits, and then skinny jeans but now flares are back yet again! This time I’m opting for more of a (slightly) higher-rise modern skinny flare jean that I think is perfect to pair with boots this fall.

Maybe the skinny jean reign will soon be ending… what do you think? Are you a fan of flare jeans?
