Happy Monday! I had a fun weekend at the Taste of Chaos festival here in SoCal– it was a total throwback to my college days with bands such as The Used, Jimmy Eat World, Thrice, All-American Rejects and more. The bands sounded amazing (I even went into the crowd– I’m too old for that shit!) and we had a great time. Maybe too great because all I wanted to do was to lay around on the couch all day 😛
Enough about my lazy habits… let’s talk makeup! I wanted to highlight a few beauty trends I’ve been all over this season. Lately I’ve been into a subtle glow– a soft, barely there peachy-pink blush and highlight– and lightweight, luminizing foundations. There’s one major product you need to add to your brow routine, if you haven’t already– a brow bone highlight pencil. It helps to highlight the brows and perks up your eyes– you can even apply to the inner corners of eyes.
I’m totally crushing on these Nails Inc. & Alice + Olivia polishes– I’m so digging the 70s vibe of these gorgeous shades.
