The lipstick formula is ultra creamy and has really good staying power. I do have to reapply after eating or after drinking from a coffee cup with a lid but that’s typically expected with lip colors. I do like that the lipsticks are very moisturizing on my lips, which makes sense because they are packed with vitamins and nutrients to help hydrate lips. The lipsticks also contains resveratrol, an antiaging antioxidant which is typically found in the skin of grapes (hello, red wine!) If you have dry lips and normally steer clear of lipstick, I urge you to try these!
The entire collection includes 34 bold shades that are extremely pigmented and super creamy in texture. They glide on extremely smoothly and although they are ultra-creamy and provide fantastic coverage, they aren’t heavy at all. Here’s the lowdown on the shades I had the opportunity to try– Pepper, Gazpacho, and Beetroot:
Pepper is a very pretty dusty rose nude shade, it’s a great everyday color and the one I’ve been wearing the most!
Gazpacho is a classic bright red with blue undertones, I feel it’s one of those reds that would look great on pretty much everyone and every skin tone. I’ve always stayed away from reds because I thought they made my lips look super small, but this is one red that actually looks great. Points for Bite Beauty for this one! This shade is definitely a fun, punchy summer color.
Beetroot is the gorgeous shade that berry lipstick dreams are made of. It is such a pretty color– more on the pink side of berry and not super dark, which makes me a very happy girl.
You can shop the entire Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick collection at Sephora, each lipstick retails for $26.
Which of these shades would you rock? Tell me in the comments!
