It’s been a couple months since I last rounded up some of my beauty favorites so I wanted to share a few that I’ve been using… a lot. It’s funny, I feel like I have SO many products, but I always tend to keep using the same ones all the time. Does this happen to anyone else, too? Here’s what I’ve been loving this month:
Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black is a deeper, warmer scent than the white version and seems more fitting for winter months. Notes include sandalwood, vanilla, and violet, a mix that has a slight masculine appeal to it. Since the scent is a bit heavier, I tend to wear it when I go out at night. The one I have is in a smaller travel size, which I prefer because it let’s me try out a fragrance before committing to a full size– rollerballs are also great!
My skin has been super dry this past week so I’ve been applying oil at night. One that I’ve been using is the Pixi Rose Oil Blend, which has a mix of almond, jojoba, rose hip, pomegranate seed and rose geranium oils. It is on the pricey end, which oils typically are, but well worth every penny. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and smooth!
If you’ve been reading my blog for awhile, you know that I love a good highlight and right now my go-to has been Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips All-in-1 Nude Palette. This palette includes 12 soft shimmery shades that can be swirled together, used individually or pretty much used in whatever combo you’d like– I usually take a fan brush and run it across the upper half. The result is an absolute perfect highlight that’s soft, glowy and just all out gorgeous. I use this on my cheeks, to highlight brow bone, inner eyes, and even cupid’s bow above my lip. You can even use the shades as eyeshadows! If you love a good highlight, I highly recommend trying this one out.
Early this year I tried Colourpop for the first time and since then I’ve been hooked. Lately I’ve been loving their Lippie Stix in LBB, a pretty deep wine shade, like a plum-red and is so stunning for the holidays. Did you see that Colourpop launched a collection with Revolve?! You can grab the limited edition Colourpop x Revolve Lip Kit with 6 Lippie Stix for just $30!
