Ah! 2 days in to 2017 and I’m still having a hard time believing 2016 is gone. Gone, but not forgotten, at least not yet. I thought today would be the perfect Makeup Monday to highlight my top beauty favorites from the past year. There’s been a lot of beauty products that I tried in 2016, but these are the ones that stood out as favorites for me. Continue reading to get the full scoop on each product and why it’s a 2016 winner:
I’ve always been super picky with my mascaras- I typically use volumizing, drier formulas (I cannot stand wet formulas!) and for me, the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara cannot be beat. This mascara builds up my lashes without clumping or looking like I’m wearing gobs of mascara, and even adds in extra length. I cannot say enough amazing things about this mascara. If you have not yet tried it, you MUST. Ulta Beauty and Sephora stores even offer a smaller trial size so you can test it out before purchasing the full size… although trust me, you will be hooked!
I picked up the Nars ‘Nordstrom’s Best’ Cheek Palette during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale this past summer and I am so glad I did. The palette contains Nars classics such as Afterglow, Deep Throat and Laguna- I love having a mix of pretty blush shades, a bronzer and even a highlighter in one handy palette. The pigmentation of these blushes is on fleek and they blend beautifully across the cheeks as well. Unfortunately the palette sold out fairly quickly during the sale and it not available any longer, however if it or a similar Nars cheek palette is released, I highly recommend you scoop it up right away!
I’ve been adding more blonde to my hair and color-treating it, along with styling, can leave it dry and damaged. A few months ago, I started using the Joico K-Pak Color Therapy Luster Lock and you guys. This stuff is a MIRACLE. It leaves me hair super soft, shiny and healthy looking. The formula helps to deeply condition, repair and even protect hair against future damage. Yes, yes, yes!
So there you have it folks, my beauty best from 2016. What are some of your most loved beauty products from 2016? Share in the comments!
You have some seriously great picks! I have heard people (especially YouTubers!) rave about a lot of these same products. Champagne Pop is one that I really, really want to test out for myself!

I absolutely LOVE the Naked 3 palette. I have all of them, but the third is my favorite. The rosy tones are gorgeous! Champagne Pop is amazing too. I've also been looking for a new bronzer, so I might have to check out the Physician's Formula one!
I love that Nars palette!
Great picks! I love the physician's formula butter bronzer, I went through two last year! I really loved the becca backlight primer, the ABH modern renaissance palette, and the nars blush seduction this year!
The Naked3 palette is one of my faves! So many perfect nudes and golds!
The Naked 3 palette looks great! I have the 2 and I love it!

Girl, YES. I love So many of these products that you've mentioned!
These pictures are gorgeous! I really want to try the eyeshadow palette and the Glossier!
The Naked 3 Palette is my FAVORITE! I've had it forever, and I cannot find anything that compares. I super regret not picking up the Nars palette at the Nordstrom sale. I've been on the fence about buying Balm dot com, but I'm going to pull the trigger today because my lips are SO dry!
