You guys, it’s March… when did that happen?? I always get thrown off in February, I mean, would it really be so weird if they threw in a couple of days to even everything out? I’d be cool with it. I realized that I missed last month’s beauty faves so I wanted to make sure I shared mine from February. These are the items that I’ve tried this past month and find myself using more often. Here’s what’s been on my love list lately:
Perfectly Posh Complexion Perfection Exfoliating Face Wash:I had tried a sample of this face wash back in August and was super bummed when I went to order it and it was no longer available. Heartbreak! Luckily, Perfectly Posh brought it back (and revamped the packaging) and I’ve been using it pretty religiously for the last month. This cleanser features gentle exfoliating walnut shells (no lie!), peppermint oil (so good for my allergies!) and aloe, which helps to soothe skin. My skin has been on the drier side and this doesn’t dry it out at all- love it!
PS- I am a Perfectly Posh rep so if you want a sample, let me know!
Physicians Formula #InstaReady Full Coverage Concealer: Okay, I just have to say that this concealer is the ish. It’s full coverage and it covers really well, but it’s not thick and cakey. I find that it’s really similar to the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer but not as thick (and a much lower price!). It’s actually a very lightweight formula and a little bit can go a long way, but that coverage, man, it’s good! This also has SPF to help protect and it comes with a cute mini blender sponge, two thumbs up for sure!
Molly Cosmetics Silisponge: You may recall these as the new beauty tools that people were going nuts for around December. They’re makeup blenders made of silicone, kind of reminiscent to bra inserts, and seem sort of weird to apply makeup with. I don’t think they’ll replace my Beauty Blender and I don’t particularly like using it with concealer, but the silisponge works pretty darn well to blend in foundation. I like that the foundation doesn’t get absorbed into in so I’m not wasting anything and they are so easy to clean. It’s one of those you have to try it to experience it kind of things– you may love it or you may hate it. I recommend purchasing from another brand that has these, mine took two whole months to get delivered.
Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Matte Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in (Earth)quake: I’ve never been much of a brown eyeliner wearer… until now. When I first received this eyeliner from Influenster I was kind of bummed because it was a dark brown (along with a light brown liner as well) and not black, which I normally wear. I got over that fast though because this deep chocolate brown liner is so pretty! It’s perfect when I want a more softer, muted eye look and also can be smudged for a pretty brown smoky eye. The liner applies smoothly and easily and doesn’t tug at my lid, which a lot of liners can do. With it being a gel, the color is pigmented and bold and stays put all day. The only thing that I don’t care for is the price, I mean, it’s an eyeliner I don’t need to be paying more than $10 for an eyeliner. Then again, it is Marc Jacobs.
Pixi Beauty Glow-y Powder in Rome Rose: So this Glow-y Powder, created in partnership with Aspyn Ovard, is actually a highlighter but I find that this shade is deep enough to use as a blush on my lighter skin. The soft formula has a hint of soft shimmer so it gives my cheeks a really pretty glow and, as the name would suggest, and is a pretty rosy pink hue. I feel like it’s that go-to blush color that looks good on anyone and everyone. It applies somewhat sheer at first but is buildable, which I like.
Have you tried any of these products? Let me know which beauty products are on your love list!

I am obsessed with Pixi right now! Their blushes and highlighters are the best!
I would love to try Pixi products. I always see them but never have bought them.
I love learning about new makeups! I definitely have to look into these next time!
