Happy May all! I’m almost not too sure if I should talk about warm weather skin care or cold weather. It’s been in the upper 80’s here in SoCal but I saw the midwest was covered in snow… wha?!? I figured I better stick to a new trend that anyone can enjoy, anytime, depending on what your skin care needs are. Have you ever heard of multi-misting?
Multi-misting is basically layering your face mists to reap the most skin care benefits and nourishment, which is awesome because A) It’s super easy- just a few spritz here and there and B) It’s a lightweight way to get all your skin care benefits, no heavy moisturizers and serums. Pixi has several face mists in their collection that can be mixed and matched depending on your skin care needs. Here’s a peek at my multi-misting routine and why you need to get on the multi-misting train:
Vitamin Wakeup Mist: This lovely mist is infused with energizing orange blossom and citrus extracts to help wake up and perk up skin, which is especially helpful in the morning when any extra perk is much appreciated. This mist helps to tone the skin and revitalize your complexion, while cooling and refreshing the skin.
Hydrating Milky Mist: This one sounds odd (milky mist??) but it’s actually one of my favorite face mists. This mist-on moisturizer It gives my normal-dry skin an extra dose of hydration and leaves it feeling moisturized and soft. This mist contains hyaluronic acid which helps to plump the skin to make it look supple and healthy. This is perfect to use just after washing (you can use it as a nighttime treatment, too!) or after using the Vitamin Wakeup Mist.
Glow Mist: Before applying my makeup and after letting the Hydrating Milky Mist absorb, I will then give my skin a spritz of the Pixi Glow Mist to give it a healthy-looking glow. This mist is enriched with 21 natural oils, fruit extracts, argan oil and aloe vera to help soothe skin. I love how it instantly gives my skin a luminous look– I will also spritz this mist after washing my face in the evening for an extra dose of glow.
Makeup Fixing Mist: Finally, after apply my makeup I reach for the Makeup Fixing Mist to set my makeup. If you have oilier skin, I would recommend this mist as it helps keep everything in place. This mist is non-sticky and has good-for-skin ingredients like rose water and green tea to help give skin nourishment.
I love that each of these has a fine mist sprayer, meaning you’ll get a perfect spray of mist over your entire face. Each of these mists are $15 and can be used throughout the day as a refresher. Which mist is your pick? Tell me!
The morning wakeup and glow mists sound right up my alley and $15 each is totally affordable!
I'm in Kansas and everything west of us is covered in snow, everything east of us is covered in flooding, where I am seems to have missed it and we've had lots of lovely 70 degree weather!
The only pixi product I've used is their glow tonic, which I loved except that I feel like I get the same results from witch hazel (which is way cheaper) but these mists sound so nice I might just have to try them out!
These look great! I have never tried this brand, but I would love to try the milky mist!
I didn't know that Pixi had face mists! So cool! Mist on moisturizer?! YES PLEASE. I need to check that out.
I've been wanting to try these! I love Pixi products.
I keep seeing Pixi products at Target and have been wanting to try them for the longest time. I will definitely look into some of these!

I tried a Pixi spray before, I can't remember which one it was, but it made me so oily! I will have to test a few of these out.
Omg, I haven't seen these before!!! I'm definitely going to try these out during the summer!!

Everyone says the best things about Pixi, but I still haven't tried it! It sounds great and affordable!
I've never used any of these mists but definitely want to give them a try!

I NEED to check these out! I just started using a mist before moisturizing, and I feel like it has been really beneficial. The Milky Mist seems like it would go well with my moisturizer, because it also contains hyaluronic acid.

I absolutely love Pixi's Glow Tonic, and have been dying to try these face mists! I really need to try them out!
I have their hydrating mist and love it. I actually have it on a list to pick more up. 🙂
Very informative post. It's true that Multi-misting is basically layering your face mists to reap the most skin care benefits and nourishment, which is awesome because it's super easy- just a few spritz here and there and it's a lightweight way to get all your skin care benefits, no heavy moisturizers and serums.
