Current Must-Have Fall Beauty Favorites

It’s starting to feel like fall ya’ll… at least finally down here in SoCal. Well, for a couple days at least. I may not be  wrapped up in scarves and sweaters like the rest of the country, but I do like to change up my beauty routine to incorporate warmer shades and scents during the fall season.  Here’s a few of my current fall beauty favorites:

I picked up the Morphe25B Bronzed Mocha Eyeshadow Palette a couple months ago while attending PHAME (a huge makeup expo!) at a super discount and have been loving it for fall– I dip into it almost every day. This under-$20 eyeshadow palette features a mix of 25 warm mocha, bronze and burgundy shades (including some stellar shimmers!). All the shades are highly-pigmented and easy to blend. One of my top tips for fragrance shopping is to purchase the rollerball version if you’re on the fence about a scent. The mini sample sizes or the spray on sticks usually don’t cut it and you don’t always get a true representation of a fragrance. Rollerballs tend to be affordable, plus they’re great for traveling or throwing in your handbag. I recently purchased the Chloé Roses de Chloé Rollerball and after using it for the past few weeks, I’m totally putting the full-size on my Christmas wishlist (nudge nudge Steve!). It has a soft, feminine rose scent- totally like a fresh bouquet of roses- but with base notes of musk and amber giving it the perfect depth for fall. 

I’ve been trying to take my lip game up a notch and have been reaching for darker, bolder hues this season. One that I’m LOVING is the Dose of Colors Matte Liquid Lipstick in Mood, a deep, muted plum shade. Being a liquid lipstick, it is highly pigmented and long-wearing, although I do have to touch up after eating or drinking from a cup. I have dry lips so matte shades don’t always look the best but this liquid lipstick is very creamy and doesn’t dry super matte. It’s a fun shade to wear and I ended up getting a few compliments while wearing it!

Beauty isn’t just about what we apply on the outside, but how we take care of ourselves inside as well. I started noticing that my nails weren’t as strong as they were  and my hair was looking more dry and meh so I began taking Spring Valley Hair, Skin & Nails Plus Biotin Capsules. These supplements contain biotin, argan oil, collagen and hyaluronic acid to  promote healthier skin, hair and nails.
