I have a love-hate relationship with three-day work weeks. Love: Um, it’s a three-day work week. Hate: They seem to take FOR-EV-ER. Thanksgiving weekend is always a good time– we usually head out to the desert for some [trailer] camping and off-roading fun. First, I’ve got to get through this week. Keep reading to see how I’m styling this pretty floral shift dress >>
I picked this floral shift dress up at Zara a few months ago when I was in San Francisco and thought the yellow, red and orange floral print would be perfect to wear this fall season. To me, those colors just scream ‘fall!!’ Add a cute fedora, a pair of booties and the perfect leather jacket (I am obsessed with this one, plus it’s faux!) and this outfit is good-to-fall! This dress would be perfect to wear for Thanksgiving dinner.
Speaking of Thanksgiving dinner, I’m not a huge eater but I cannot wait to dive into a plate full of sweet potato casserole. Seriously, it’s the BEST and for me, it’s just not Thanksgiving without it at the table. I’m also a sucker for a good dressing/stuffing, yum yum! Since we’ll be spending it out in the desert, I have to make my Thanksgiving dishes ahead of time– I already have the cranberry sauce done and will be making my casserole today. I have a LOT to get ready but I think the weekend of fun will be worth it
Tell me, how are you spending Thanksgiving weekend?
