Sneak Peek: February POPSUGAR Must Have Box Review + Coupon

Today I’m sharing a look at what’s inside my favorite subscription box… which includes all my favorite things. What is a POPSUGAR Must Have Box?

The POPSUGAR Must Have Box is a lifestyle subscription box curated by the editors of POPSUGAR. Each box includes a mix of beauty, fashion, fitness, food, and even home items. Every month contains new items (full-sized!) from these categories, typically within a certain theme. Febraury’s theme is based on love, Valentine’s Day, floral and chocolate. The total retail value of the February box is more than $170. 

BIG news… POPSUGAR Must Have is now going quarterly! The February box is the last monthly box from POPSUGAR, boxes will now be $75 each with a value of $250 per box. For those who are already subscribed and wish to continue, no need to make changes to your account, you will be billed at this new rate ($75+ tax). However, if you’d like to opt out you will need to cancel your subscription by April 15th. You can read more details here. 

What’s Inside?

I am absolutely loving the TokyoMilk Anthemoessa No. 84 Shea Butter Handcreme ($22 value)! This hand lotion has a super soft floral scent and instantly moisturizes my super dry hands. The formula is creamy, rich and luxe feeling– it contains avocado oil and shea butter-  and absorbs quickly into skin leaving hands feeling hydrated without being greasy.  Definitely on the pricey side for a hand creme but it would make a fab gift! Oh, and how beautiful is the packaging??

Also included is the TokyoMilk French Kiss No. 15 Parfum ($30 value) is a lovely scent which includes a date night-esque blend with notes of mandarin, tuberose, gardenia and vetiver. For me, it’s definitely more a night fragrance as the notes are deeper than those I typically wear (light, soft feminine florals). I love the simple packaging, including a shot of the Eiffel Tower on the inside label.

Another favorite is this beautiful K. Hall Designs Peony Candle ($26 retail), which is a hand-poured with a 100% natural soy wax. It has up to 60 hours of burn time and has a soft peony scent. Truthfully, I am a bit of a candle hoard (you can never have enough!) and I can’t wait to light this one up!

 

 

How cute is this celestial La Soula Jewelry Universal Love Bracelet ($39 value)? This is probably my most least-favorite item in the box… I never wear silver jewelry so this probably won’t see much wear on my wrist. It’s a pretty design and even has a tiny diamond in the center of the star for a little extra bling. Is a perfect piece to wear on it’s own (love dainty jewelry) or paired with other bracelets for an all-out arm party. I do believe box subscribers were able to choose from silver or gold. Maybe I’ll offer a fun giveaway for this piece… 😉

Snack time! My newest munchie obsession is Droga Chocolates Money on Honey Dark Chocolate Brown Rice Crispy ($5 value). These are absolutely delicious… and addicting! The yummy mix of organic brown rice and honey (as in, NO corn syrup!) are coated in a Fair Trade Certified  dark chocolate and are gluten free, non GMO, and no artificial colors or flavorings. Plus, for every bag purchased, Droga Chocolates makes a donation to support the health of honey bees.  I am literally eating one as I type this… Yum yum! 

Taking part of this month’s theme perfectly is the modern Nima Oberoi Lunares Heart Vase ($49 value) made of an aluminum alloy in a metallic silver finish.  What’s awesome is that it is hand-polished and was made from 100 percent recycled material making it eco-friendly! This vase is perfect for the desk or vanity. How gorgeous do the roses look in it?

Lastly, as a Special Extra, the box contained a pair of Stella Artois ‘Buy a Lady a Drink’ LE Chalices. I’m a Stella Artois beer drinker so I was super excited to see these in the box and even more excited to read the story behind the pretty designs. Each year, Stella Artois partners with Water.org to highlight artists from developing countries to design these limited edition glasses and for every chalice sold, Stella Artois and Water.org will provide five years’ worth of vlean water for someone in need*. 

*$3.13 helps provide 5 years of clean water for 1 person in the developing world. Stella Artois will donate $3.13 to Water.org for every Limited-Edition Stella Artois Chalice sold in the U.S. between 1/1/18 and 12/31/18, up to 300,000 chalices.

There are a total of three beautiful etched designs in the collection (susbcribers will receive two of three countries: Mexico, Phillippines or India) with a gold-leaf rim.
