Bronzed Eye Makeup with Tarte Cosmetics

Bronzed Eye Look with Tarte Cosmetics | A Good Hue

Tarte Cosmetics is one of my favorite prestige makeup brands– they have great quality products with good-for-skin, naturally-derived ingredients (such as Amazonian clay, marine flower extracts, maracuja oil and more) and they’re also cruelty-free!

With the weather warming up, I was inspired to create a pretty warm bronzed look with a mauve pink lip. Continue reading to see how I get a gorgeous bronzed eye makeup look using Tarte Cosmetics>>

I started with a clean and moisturized face and then applied Shape Tape Contour Concealer under my eye area, around my nose and to my chin. This concealer is one of my most favorite concealers (check out my concealer showdown here) and covers dark circle and blemishes well, while also brightening my skin. After blending in, I applied a face powder to set.

I then applied a bronzer to the hollows of my cheeks and around the perimeter of my face to give my skin a healthy glow. Next, I applied Amazonian Clay Blush in Paaarty, a pretty nude pink, to the apples of my cheeks, blending up and out towards my hairline.

I used the Tartlette Toasted Eyeshadow Palette to create a pretty multi-dimensional bronzed eye look. I first applied the shade ‘Latte’ to my lids using an eyeshadow brush, blending up towards my brow-bone. Using a blending brush, I then applied ‘Warmth’ into my crease blending out. To add dimension, I then blending ‘Cozy’ into the crease. Next, using a smaller crease brush, I applied ‘Fireside’ to the outter v, blending in the outter portion of my crease. I also applied this shade to my lower lash line. I then applied a touch of ‘Simmer’ to my lids with a synthetic brush, pushing it onto my lid. To finish, I applied ‘Candle’ to the middle of my lids, to the inner corners and to my brow bone to highlight. Using a fan brush, I also applied ‘Candle’ to the tops of my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose to highlight.

After applying Tarteist Clay Paint Liner to my lids, I swiped a couple layers of Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara to both my upper and lower lashes. I love how this mascara lengthens and volumizes my lashes, opening my eyes. The formula is actually infused with provitamin B5 to nourish lashes, how cool is that?

An eye look is not complete with un-finished brows! I applied Busy Gal Brows Tinted Brow Gel (I use the shade Taupe), a waterproof 3-in-1 tinted brow gel that helps shape, fill in and hold brows.

To complete the bronzed eye look, I applied Tarteist Creamy Matte Lip Paint in FOMO, which is one of my favorite mauve lip shades. I absolutely love how creamy and velvety this formula is and how pigmented and pretty the color is!

I absolutely love Tarte products. They have some of the best quality in my opinion, and they’re almost all designed to be GOOD for your skin – which is a major plus!
