Why is the day after Daylight Savings so rough? Even Georgia (my dog) didn’t want to get out of bed yesterday morning. TBH though, I do love that it stays lighter longer. Especially when you’re trying to get OOTD pics in– during the winter you have to hustle before the sun goes down at like 5 p.m. and when you work full-time, the #struggleisreal.
Since we’re on the cusp of spring, I thought I’d share how-to style a side knot shirt in a pretty little casual spring outfit I put together using affordable pieces from Zara and American Eagle Outfitters. Continue reading to see more of this look and get the deets>>

I feel like the weather can’t make up it’s mind this week– it’s warm, then it’s cold and rainy, back to warm and so on. Jeans are one of those staple items that I think are perfect for weather like this and dark denim is especially great for dressing up or down and it’s easy to throw a jacket or coat over if needed. I thought it would be the perfect basic to accompany this cream-colored side knot shirt, and then dress it up with grey-tone accessories. Another staple item for me is a good tote and I LOVE the simplicity of Cuyana totes. I am al about this taupe-gray (received as a Christmas gift!) and it’s been one of my go-to bags since. Plus it’s monogramed with my initials– how cute is that??
Life is starting to get busy, busy. I’ve been checking out wedding venues on weekends and have a lot going on with work with upcoming events and projects. Work is sending me to NYC for a couple days so you’ll have to check out my IG Stories (@angoodhue) to see what I’m up to out there. I’ll be staying in LES/Soho area, which I’m super excited about– for all the times I’ve been to NYC, I’ve never actually stayed in that area. I won’t have much time there but if you have any recs for cool spots for me to check out in the Downtown area, LMK in the comments below– Sézane and Cha Cha Matcha are topping my list!
