Cheers to Friday, all! I’m kicking off this weekend with a roundup of some of my new favorite Southern California places to catch happy hour… actually, most of these have locations throughout the US! It’s Friday, you just got paid, get your weekend going by grabbing a drink or munchies at one of these 5 happy hour spots in Southern California>>
Palihouse West Hollywood
I had the chance to visit Palihouse West Hollywood for a work event this week and it was the most charming hotel tucked into WeHo. The food was spot on and the cocktail I had was delicious– a mix of citrus that was so refreshing! The outside area is adorable and just so chill, the perfect spot for a spring/summer drink. There’s actually a couple of options- you can dine and drink al fresco at the adorable Mardi Restaurant, hang out on the Rooftop with views overlooking West Hollywood, or you can chill in The Lobby Lounge.
Punch Bowl Social
I have to say, I think Punch Bowl Social is going to be my new, casual hangout spot in the Inland Empire. This spot not only offers food and SUPER yummy crafted drinks (their High Fashion & Mason Mule were both delicioso!) but arcade games, bowling, karaoke and more! They even have actual party-sized punch bowls that are perfect for your entire happy hour gang. The hard part will be deciding which punch bowl to get! The best part of Punch Bowl Social? Anyone under 21 is kicked out after 10p.m. so adults can have all the fun. You can best believe that the girls and I spent an hour in the karaoke room belting it out.

Brio Tuscan Grille
Not only is Brio Tuscan Grille‘s menu superb, but their bar menu kicks some major booty. The bar plates are just $4-$6 and the perfect size to share– seriously, Steve and I went and just had the bar menu and after about 4 plates we were stuffed– and the drinks are fan-tabulous. Like, really, really tasty. I highly recommend the crispy shrimp brio and the new blackberry spring cocktails– yum!
You can find nearby locations here.
True Food Kitchen
True Food Kitchen offers healthy-inspired food and seasonal dishes and cocktails using sustainable and regional ingredients, including fresh fruits and veggies. I’ll be heading there next week for some happy hour girl time & to try out their spring menu and cocktails– how delicious does the Citrus Skinny Margarita sound? Or the Basil Cucumber Collins? Yum! Make sure you are following along on Instagram to see what dishes and drinks are my favorites.

Public School 213
Public School 213 has become a downtown Los Angeles happy hour (or as they refer to it, recess) staple… and for good reason. Tasty food, yummy drinks and a lively social scene. When I worked down in Culver City, Public School was one of my fave after work hang outs– well drinks, wine and beer are just $5-$6. You absolutely HAVE to try the bacon cheddar tots with sriracha ketchup… they are to-die-for!
Check out the list of Public School locations.
