I was digging around in my drawer last week and realized that I didn’t own a pair of white shorts. How are we halfway through summer and I’m just NOW realizing this?? To me, summer and white shorts go together like, I don’t know, peanut butter and jelly. Or eggs and bacon. Or… well, you get the idea. I had to fix that stat so I headed to my local Target because well, Target always saves the day, amiright? One of my go-to collections at Target is the new Universal Thread line. that was introduced earlier this year. The line has become known for it’s women’s collection of jeans– as well as pieces  that pair well with denim, including tops, dresses, accessories and shoes– think comfort and cool. To me, the line has a Madewell vibe but without the price tag. In fact, pretty much everything in the collection is under $40… yes, please! This post isn’t sponsored, I’m just REALLY loving this collection! 

I’m a sucker for a good button-down and was immediately drawn to the soft blue stripes– the perfect top for work and casual weekend looks like this.
