Let me ask you a question, when was the last time you took time for you? One gripe among my friends and one I’ve heard from many women is how little time they have for self-care and how they really want to make more time for themselves but without spending a lot of money. Personally, I’m big on self-care but like my friends, I need to keep my budget in mind. Rite Aid has become one of my go-to’s for beauty and wellness, because let’s face it, they really do go hand in hand. I like that I’m able to find quality products that help me feel my best without breaking the bank. My beauty time is important to me and in order to feel AND look my best, I tend to put a large focus on my skin. I’ve mentioned before that my skin is on the drier side and if I don’t moisturize properly, I can feel quite uncomfortable in my own skin… literally.
Before I get to my moisturizing self-care routine, I just have to mention how I’ve recently started using NIVEA® Body Lotions with their 48hr Deep Moisture Serum, which is a new formula that provides deep moisture to your skin– a must for me! NIVEA Lotion favorites at Rite Aid, such as Essentially Enriched and Shea Daily Moisture lotions, now include the 48hr Deep Moisture Serum,. Plus, their NEW Aloe Vera body lotion also contains the serum as well. Click the image above to shop these products directly! Keep reading for my head-to-toe moisturizing self-care routine and how I’m putting more of a focus on wellness>>
1. Face
When it comes to my moisturizing self-care routine, I start with my face. My skin usually feels dry immediately after I wash it so I tend to apply moisturizer soon after washing. During colder months in the fall and winter, I tend to apply a thick moisturizer to help quench my thirsty skin. At night, I’ll typically use a moisturizing serum or thicker moisturizer to reap hydration benefits while I sleep.
2. BODY
I tend to take hot (like, really hot!) showers which although it feels amazing when it’s chilly out, it dries out my skin. Applying body lotion all over is a must for me or else I will feel itchy and uncomfortable the entire day. Lately I’ve been using the NIVEA® Essentially Enriched Body Lotion, which contains the 48hr Deep Moisture Serum and is formulated for dry to very dry skin. The lotion feels rich and luxe, yet blends into skin easily. It is also formulated with almond oil but does not feel greasy at all. My skin instantly felt smooth and hydrated! With daily use, I know that my skin will be feeling amazing all fall and winter long.
3. FEET
I definitely can’t forget about my feet when it comes to moisturizing! Lately my heels have been especially dry so I’ve been rubbing on a thick application of the NIVEA® Shea Daily Moisture Body Lotion. I love that this lotion is not only infused with the 48hr Deep Moisture Serum but with shea butter as well. After applying, I put on a pair of fluffy socks to really help lock the moisture in. It feels indulgent but my wallet stays happy. I’ve already noticed that my feet have felt softer and smoother! Ready to take your self-care routine to the next level? I’m so good about moisturizing my face, but need to be better about the rest of my body. Will definitely go and buy this lotion.
Nivea is a great brand! I tried it once ’cause I ran out of the one that I use and I absolutely loved it. Now is one of my favorites!!
