Wedding Planning With A Purpose

I’m not going to lie, wedding planning can be very overwhelming at times. Jam-packed with practical information for the modern day bride, Modern Wedding has become my bride Bible. The book features anything and everything wedding related—including dress shopping, flowers and tablescapes, cake inspiration and wedding stationary. There is even a groom’s guide with tips on footwear, ties and ideas for boutonnieres. There’s tons of little tidbits and tips throughout the book—including a pre-wedding beauty checklist that will definitely come in handy for this beauty-obsessed bride. 

What makes this different from wedding magazines and other wedding books?  This particular book shares examples of chic, modern day weddings that are timeless—not influenced by the ‘it’ wedding trend of the year (donut walls, anyone?). The ideas inside are creative and inspirational without feeling overwhelming.

To me, the main message in this book is to step away from your budget, get away from what everyone else ‘thinks is best’ and stay true to yourself as a couple. It’s a reminder to create what makes you most happy on your big day and adding personal touches throughout your event.

I also love how the book includes ‘case studies’ of real weddings. The author does a great job at showcasing ideas from unique couples who all had these amazing wedding visions. From destination weddings to in-home parties, this book truly covers it all.

With a beautiful hardbound exterior and gorgeous cover, Modern Wedding is perfect for the coffee table. It also makes a wonderful gift for any newly engaged couple who are looking to plan a truly special event.
