My Rose-Infused Skincare Routine

Rose-Infused Skincare Favorites | A Good Hue

With Valentine’s Day quickly approaching, I thought it would be fun to round up some of my current rose-infused skincare favorites. I’ve been using these products in my daily (or almost daily) routine. My love of rose-infused products runs deep as I’ve mentioned several rose-infused skincare items here before– I’m a sucker for any skin products with rosewater, rosehip oil and rose oil! Here’s what I’m loving lately>>

As soon as I step out of the shower, I like to give my face a quick mist of the Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist. It refreshes my skin and helps to calm any redness from cleansing and the warm water of the shower. It has a super soft rosy scent– light and not overpowering. Aside from rosewater, this mist also contains marshmallow root extract which is totally not the fluffy sugary white puffs you’re thinking of but rather a plant extract that provides intensive hydrating and softening properties and is great for skin and hair.

My skin has not been loving the dry winter weather and will take any hydration it can get. One of my moisturizer go-to’s has been the Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream. As the name suggests, this cream is ultra-hydrating and has a super creamy, luxe texture while still feeling lightweight on skin. Along with rosewater, this cream also features hyaluronic acid, plum seed oil and hydropatches to help skin retain moisture.

Tip: For an ultra-luxe and decadent experience, apply using a chilled rose quartz skin roller!

After applying my makeup I love to give my face a spritz of the Pixi Beauty Rose Glow Mist for extra hydration. This mist includes a blend of rose oil, avocado oil and argan oil, along with six more rose flower extracts. The end result is a glowing, dewy finish!

I recently reviewed some of my other Pixi Beauty rose skintreat favorites.

I carry my rose-infused skincare routine into the evening as well. After removing my makeup, I will apply the Physicians Formula Rosé All Night Ultra-Restorative Cream. This night cream is super thick and is very much akin to a more expensive night cream but without the hefty price tag. It contains rosewater and vitamin C to help brighten and hydrate skin. I love the soft rose scent and how moisturized this cream keeps my skin feeling all through the night.

I love my rose-infused mists, can you tell? The Kopari Coconut Rose Toner is another one of my go-to faves. It feels super refreshing to spritz onto clean skin! The natural witch hazel helps to tighten pores while the rose and lavender extracts help to calm skin and reduce any redness as well, making it great for sensitive skin. Definitely a winner!

What a beautiful list of rose-infused skincare products! My skin tends to be drier in the winter and I’m sure these would help. I’ve used a couple of Physician’s Formula products that I loved and would like to try this Rose Restorative Cream.
