Graphic Tee (on sale!) | Jeans | Sneakers | Jacket | Bag | Sunglasses
These last few weeks have been crazy! First, and most importantly, my first nephew was born this past week! He’s absolutely the cutest and most alert newborn I have ever seen. I can’t wait to spend more time with him and watch him as he grows and becomes a little man! I’ve also been busy with wedding planning– getting vendors booked, figuring out decor and all that fun wedding stuff.
This week I’m sharing two affordable outfits featuring two different styles of jeans that are perfect as we start transitioning into the spring season. Keep reading for more>>
A couple weekends ago, Steve and I headed down to San Diego for a taco tasting with potential wedding caterers. The tacos are SO good and I can’t wait to eat them again at our wedding– this taco bar is going to be legit! Now I just need to figure out the cake…
Since we were down in San Diego, we made a stop in Coronado island and headed to one of my fave resorts for a drink– Hotel del Coronado. This hotel is absolutely gorgeous and such a San Diego landmark. If you’re planning a trip down that way, I highly recommend staying here! It’s right on the beac, close to downtown, and has such a cool history. The hotel was built in 1888 and has hosted celebs, royals and was even the set for Marilyn Monroe’s ‘Some Like It Hot.’ Plus, its purportedly haunted!
On the way home from San Diego, we stopped to check out the poppy fields– the hills were glowing orange! The bright orange California poppy is our state flower and are so pretty, especially when they bloom like this. Did you know it’s illegal to pick a poppy (and all flowers & plants actually) if it’s on state property??
Last week I ventured out to The London West Hollywood for a Pixi Beauty event. I loved seeing and playing with their new 2019 launches— SO many good products! Hopefully you caught my IG stories from the event (be sure to follow me on Instagram at @angoodhue if you’re not already!) My favorites included their Vitamin C line expansion and these gorgeous oils in their Skintreats collection. For makeup, I am loving the new Summer Glow Palette, which has blush, bronzer and highlight shades. I can’t wait to show more!
Peach Sweater | Flare Jeans (similar) (similar) | Bag | Ankle Boots | Sunglasses
For the event, since it’s still been chilly out I wore a soft sweater. This one has big flouncy sleeves and a side tie-knot– so cute and comfy! I wore it paired with flare jeans since I’ve been seeing these all over again.
Oh, and I also chopped my hair again! I’m trying to figure out how I want to wear it for the wedding. I’m keeping the color soft with natural highlights to add a little dimension. As for length, for the wedding I’d like it just a tad longer than this but above my shoulders– more of a lob style. What do you think?
