My Current Spring Beauty Favorites

How was everyone’s Easter weekend?! Now that my little nephew is here, holidays are a lot more fun with the family. I loved seeing his cute little face this past weekend! I haven’t shared any beauty favorites for awhile and thought it might be high time to delve into what I’ve been using in my spring beauty routines! SPRING BEAUTY: BODY CARE 

If you’ve been a reader for awhile, you will know that I’ve been rose-infused beauty obsessed for some time now. Lately, I have been using the Pacifica Dreamy Youth Rose & Peptides Body Lotion, which features a blend of rose, apricot and peptides to keep skin moisturized. It smells really good—the perfect addition to your spring beauty regimen— and doesn’t leave skin feeling greasy. SPRING BEAUTY: SKIN CARE

This next favorite is one I’ve been using in my nighttime skin routine and it is literally liquid gold– the Algenist GENIUS Liquid Collagen. It’s a vegan, plant-based collagen and microalgae oil blend that is legit the best serum I have ever used. The serum is rich in omegas and vitamin E, and while pricey, it is so worth it. My skin looks and feels more hydrated and suppler and is one of the most impressive products I have ever used. It is definitely one to add to your preventive skin regimen!

I love me some eye gels and lately I’ve been reaching for the Pixi DetoxifEYE Facial Treatment . When I first saw these eye gels, I couldn’t wait to get my hands (or eyes!) on them. The hydrogel eye patches are soaked in hyaluronic acid and caffeine to smooth, depuff and help diminish dark under eye circles. I put these under my eyes and leave on for about 10 minutes; after that, I gently pat the remaining serum into my skin.

During the dry winter months I tend to focus on hydrating my skin, but now that the weather is warmer and there’s more moisture in the air, I’m all about that spring glow! SPRING BEAUTY: HAIR CARE

When it comes to my hair, I’ve been using the Chi Paint Party Flat Iron – how pretty is this watercolor print?? So perfect for spring and summer! This iron has several different heat settings so I can set it as low or high as I need to and it works wonderfully to both straighten and curl my hair. It doesn’t pull or burn my hair (yikes!) either. I only started using Chi irons last year but I really like them—I don’t know why I waited so long to get on the Chi train!
