Casual Striped Summer Dress

Ah, where did the summer go?? I can’t believe August is ending soon… and so is summer. I have to say, with temps in the 90s and 100’s lately, I’m looking forward to a cool down. Then again, I am in Southern California and the cool down might not come until November. #TrueStory In the meantime, I’ll be keeping my cool in this adorable striped summer dress.

Summer has been flying by since my wedding almost two months ago. I’m still waiting to receive the photos—I can’t wait to share! We’re working on honeymoon plans… more details coming soon 😉

I wore this striped summer dress from Cobalt and Tawny a couple weeks ago for my cousin’s bridal shower—it was absolutely perfect for an outdoor party. The material is light and the cut of the dress kept it light and breezy. When it got chilly later in the evening, a denim jacket was the perfect accompaniment. If stripes aren’t your thing, this style is also available in two other colors!
