One of my biggest goals this year was to create healthy habits and make better choices when it comes to food, exercising and overall wellness. I work at a desk full-time and I’ve found that it’s easy to slip into unhealthy habits—eating junk food, getting lazy and just not wanting to do anything.
It’s not always easy to get your health back on track, but here’s a few healthy habits you can start implementing immediately>>
Get Your Fitness On
This year I joined a gym and have made it a goal to go at least three times a week—especially prior to the wedding. I’m definitely not the poster gal for the gym. This spring and early summer I was hitting the gym several times a week but lately it hasn’t always that easy to get to the gym. Work projects, blogging, life all get in the way.
On the days I do get to the gym, I feel SO much better about myself and my health. If you’ve been thinking about getting into a workout routine—DO IT. Try a class, get a gym membership… try to grab a buddy. It’s always easier when working out with a friend or co-worker! Plus, a new workout outfit always helps get me motivated!
Take Your Vitamins
Sometimes you need a little something-something extra and that’s where Ritual comes in. Ritual is a multivitamin for women that contains nine essential vitamins and nutrients that you may not be fully getting in your diet.
To make taking your vitamins easier, Ritual offers a subscription-based service and arrives on your doorstep every month. I’ve been taking Ritual for the past month—each 2-in-1 capsule is packed with oily and dry ingredients (separately) such as omegas, vitamins B12, K, D3, E, iron and more. Since starting to take these, I’ve been feeling great! After the wedding I hadn’t been feeling great and thought maybe my vitamin D levels were low. I think these vitamins have helped with my levels and overall healthy feeling. In the past I’ve had issues with vitamins causing stomachaches and have not had a single one from taking these!
The vegan pills are easy to swallow and are enhanced with mint—no icky vitamin after taste! I actually WANT to take these vitamins and they help me get the nutrients I need.
Set Goals… And Work Towards Them
Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither are healthy habits. Personally I find it best to to set small goals and build upon them into larger goals. What’s great about goals is that they are YOUR goals—no one elses. If you can’t get to a workout four times a week, adjust your goal to be more attainable.
TIP: Add your healthy habits to a planner or calendar to help hold yourself accountable.
Get Your Apple Cider Vinegar Fix
Apple cider vinegar has so many health benefits—especially when it comes to digestion, enhancing the complexion, detoxifying and providing energy. However, it’s NOT easy to take a shot of it daily. Enter Goli apple cider vinegar gummies. These lil gummies are tasty yet are packed with all the goodness of ACV—just two gummies equals an entire shot!
These gummies also contain antioxidants and good-for-you ingredients such as pomegranate, citrus, beetroots, and vitamins B12 and B9 (folic acid). Plus they are vegan and gluten-free, which is a major plus! These gummies make it a lot easier to get that apple cider vinegar fix and I highly recommend if you’re looking to incorporate ACV into your health routine. They’re so good, you might find yourself grabbing for these for a sweet fix– it’s safe to take up to 12 a day!

De-Stress with Wellness Rituals
I firmly believe that wellness should be incorporated into a health routine—especially when it comes to stress management. I’m the type to internalize my stress and that can lead to problems such as sore muscles, mood swings, and exhaustion.
It’s important to make time for me, whether that means getting a massage, self-care activities or just getting an adequate amount of sleep.
