Anyone still on a major matcha latte kick? 🙋♀️ Not only is this antioxidant-packed superfood good for you, it’s great for your skin as well. In the past year, matcha has become a major ingredient trend on beauty shelves—showing up in skin care, hair care and even cosmetics.
Matcha , which is king of green teas, is full of the mega-antioxidant EGCC, which hydrates, slows down cell aging process, reduced fine lines, inflammation (great for puffy, red eyes!) and even helps with acne. Today I’m sharing a few favorite matcha beauty products infused with this green tea wonder as their star ingredient, keep reading to find out what made my most matcha loved list>>
Fourth Ray Beauty Matcha Face Milk
One of my weekly go-to matcha beauty products is the Matcha Face Milk, a super lightweight face milk infused with glorious matcha milk, kale, rice milk and white tea. I use about 2-3 drops and apply this after cleansing to help moisturize my skin!

Physicians Formula The Perfect Matcha 3-in-1 Cleansing Balm
Cleansing balms have become the latest and greatest ways to remove makeup and cleanse the skin and this drugstore find has become the one I’m reaching for most. It’s packed with antioxidant-rich matcha green tea, hydrating bamboo shoot and rebalancing lotus extract to gently melt away makeup, impurities and leave skin feeling soft and hydrated. Bonus? You can find this cleansing balm under $10!
*Not pictured: I’ve also been using the Physicians Formula The Perfect Matcha 3-in-1 Beauty Water and it is such a refreshing facial spray! I typically apply it as a toning spray after cleaning my face and leave it cooling in my skincare fridge for a little something-something extra.
SheaMoisture Matcha Green Tea & Probiotics Transforming Clay-to-Cream Cleanser
When I saw this in the store, I couldn’t resist trying—it applies like a clay face mask yet turns into a cream cleanser… plus it’s infused with matcha green tea and probiotics which helps to balance the skin and soothe any redness.
While this cleanser leaves my skin feeling soft and did reduce redness, it also leaves my normal-dry skin feeling a bit tight (my guess is from the kaolin clay) and in need of some moisturization. I think this would be best suited for oily, combination and even acne-prone skin types.
SheaMoisture Matcha Green Tea And Probiotics Color Correcting Moisturizer
As with the above product, this matcha beauty product intrigued me because it not only features matcha as one of the main ingredients but color-corrects the skin as well! The moisturizer has a slight green tint to combat and neutralize redness… and it does work! I like how hydrating it is on skin, not greasy and the tint does help to take down any redness. The moisturizer does have a more matte finish and again, would be especially great for those with oilier skin.
Not Your Mothers – Nutrient Rich Butter Masque – Matcha Green Tea & Wild Apple Blossom
I love a good hair masque and this one does not disappoint! I use a hair masque once a week to deep condition my hair and this one leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth… plus, it smells REALLY good!
If you’re looking for more matcha hair products, NYM has a shampoo and conditioner featuring matcha green tea and wild apple blossom as well.
Milk Makeup Matcha Cleanser

The perfect TSA-friendly travel cleanser! This solid cleansing stick is sulfate-free and features a combination of matcha, algae-extract and lavender essential oil to detoxify, purify, and exfoliate skin. It’s on my list of must-trys—if you’ve tried it, let me know what you think in the comments!
Colleen Rothschild Beauty Matcha Tea Treatment Toner
I first wrote about this toner as one of my most used summer beauty products … and it will continue to be well into the rest of the year. This toner is on the pricier side but I find that it’s well worth the sticker price. It features a mix of matcha green tea and kombucha black tea along with Colleen Rothschild Beauty’s exclusive Level E3 technology to make these key ingredients work best for skin.
I love applying this toner right after cleansing my face to remove any excess makeup or dirt and give my skin a good detox. I’ll sometimes get breakouts on my chin and love that this toner has an antiseptic to help prevent those breakouts and minimize pores… so far so good!
