Fall is here but it sure doesn’t feel like it here in Los Angeles! This time of year is when transitional pieces take on a new importance. I want to be able to wear the piece now in 90-degree heat and again when it finally starts dipping below 70-degrees. This Something Navy dress has been my go-to lately and it’s one I’ll be wearing well into the fall season. Here’s how I’m styling now and how I’ll be styling it later on>>
I picked up this Something Navy dress at Nordstrom a couple months ago– I had found it in the online sale section, a total score! I had always loved the Something Navy blog and Arielle’s style so I’m happy to shop her Nordstrom collection! Unfortunately this dress is now sold out, but I’ve linked to similar budget-friendly transitional style mini dresses. I’m hoping she releases similar dresses next season– they are so comfy and perfect to dress up or down, as I have here with a pair of sneaks.

For my “fall” look–I pulled out a cozy cardigan I purchased during the Nordstrom anniversary sale. It’s been way too hot to wear it still, but come cooler months, I’ll be seeing this guy a lot!
Do you have summer pieces that your transitioning to fall?

That dress looks so cute on you! I love how you styled it for Fall!
This is such a cute dress! It’s a really great staple to have in your wardrobe, but I love how you gave it a boho vibe with the sweater and the hat.
This is a great dress! Atlanta is super hot still, so I definitely agree with you on needed some transition outfits. I love both ways you styled this!
