You’re invited to a Too Faced Christmas Cookie House Party! This limited edition holiday collection from Too Faced is the absolute cutest… and it even smells like freshly baked gingerbread! This week I’m sharing a festive holiday glam look that you can re-create… keep reading for more>>
Too Faced Christmas Cookie House Party collection contains a large breakaway palette containing 20 eye shadows in various finishes; a medium palette with six eye shadows- four glitters and two mattes; a small palette with highlighter, blush and bronzer; a travel-size Better Than Sex Mascara; travel-size Melted Matte Lipstick in the shade ‘Gingerbread Man’; and a travel-size Shadow Insurance 24-Hour Eye Shadow Primer.
I love that the palettes are separate– makes it easy to store and travel with. All the shades are beautiful and in sticking with Too Faced’s fun, flirty branding, they all have fun names like “Oh, Snap”, “Easy Bake Lovin'” etc. Oh, and the palettes and lip are gingerbread scented– yum!
How-To: Christmas Cookie Glam
To get a Christmas cookie-inspired glam makeup look, I started by applying the Shadow Insurance 24-Hour Eye Shadow Primer to my entire lid. The primer will help make the shadows pop more but will also prevent the shadow from creasing.
For the eyes, I started by applying the shade “Cream Filling”, to my entire lid, blending up into my brow bone with a large eyeshadow brush. I then applied ‘Ginger Bells”, a matte peach shade to my lids, blending up into my crease. To deepen the crease, I applied “Oh Snap!”, a matte chocolate brown using a crease brush.
To add that pop of red, I applied “Nooks & Cranberries” to crease and outter-V. I then gently applied the primer to my lid with my finger. Using a synthetic brush (I prefer to use small concealer brushes), I popped the metallic copper shade “Cinnamagic’ to my lids and lower lash line.
I then applied a touch of the ‘Snow Pink’ glitter to middle of lids… glitter is a holiday must! To complete the eye look, I lined my eyes using a liquid eyeliner and added a couple coats of Better Than Sex Mascara. The mini size is perfect as a try-me (I love trying the mini sizes before committing to full-size) and is also great for travel.
For face, I applied my foundation, concealer and powder as I normally would. Next, I applied the bronzer in “Extra Toasty” in the smaller face palette to hollows of my cheeks and around the perimeter of my face to give it that toasty, warm bronzed look.
I followed by applying the blush, a soft matte rose shade named “Daydreamer” to the apples of my cheeks and blending back towards my hair line. It’s such a beautiful shade! I applied “Get Frosted”, a peachy champagne highlighter, to the tops of cheekbones for a pretty glow.
To finish the look, I applied Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick in “Gingerbread Man” to lips– it’s a fun matte orange-y red that smells like yummy gingerbread!
It looks like the set is mostly sold-out online but you may be able to find in stores at Sephora. I’ve linked similar products and sets below so you can complete this festive holiday look. Or, maybe Santa will leave this collection under the tree!
