✨ Happy 2020! ✨ With a new year, comes new goals and resolutions. Last year I shared how I use a planner for keeping on top of my goals and this year I’ll be doing something similar. I’m keeping my goals simple albeit challenging yet attainable. Here are my 2020 goals:
Savings Plan
This past year had some big expenditures, namely a wedding and a honeymoon. To be honest, my bank account has not been very happy lately! This year will be all about saving– cutting back on frivolous spending, buying things I don’t need and using what I already have. This can be really hard when you have a blog, especially when it comes to sharing new beauty reviews and outfits. I’ll just have to be more creative when it comes to content!
Fitness Focus
For the past couple months I’ve fallen off my workout routine– in fact, I think I went to the gym only once or twice since October. Yikes! I’m making it a goal to put a bigger focus on my fitness and get back into a steady workout routine.
To start, my goal is to head to the gym a minimum of 3 times a week. To incentivize myself, I plan to treat myself to something I’ve been wanting instead of just frivolously buying it.
Healthy Living
The holidays are always rough when it comes to healthy eating– there’s just so many sweets and carbs and cookies and candy and… you get the idea. It’s everywhere! I for one definitely need to get back on track with my healthy eating habits and putting a focus on health in general.
This also includes mental health and making sure I’m not over extending myself and minimizing stress. My goal is to make sure I’m taking enough me time, doing things that help me relax and unwind and even putting more of a focus on my close relationships.
Make Time for Books
One of my favorite ways to unwind is to get lost in a good book. In fact, I prefer reading to watching TV or movies! My 2019 reading goal was 25 books and I was just under with 22. I’m keeping the same goal for this year and hope to not only achieve it, but surpass it.
In fact, I have a new book review coming later this week… stay tuned!

Fitness is a big one! I feel that I am sitting ALLLL day long, which isn’t good. I’m trying to move more for my health and sanity!
Great goals! I actually just got engaged last month so I’m trying to save as much money as I can for the wedding so I hear you on the saving goal for 2020!
You have some similar goals to me – as does everyone – and I love it. Fitness and reading and saving money are all very important things to different people for different reasons 🙂 I can’t wait to see how you totally crush 2020!
It seems so irresponsible but I am yet to write down my goals. I guess I should get to it before the month flies by. 🙂

cute & little
I read 60 books in 2019. I did some audio and some actual books so I could have two books going at the same time. This year my goal is 65. We will see how it goes. I wish everyone would read more.
Ok my fitness goal is ALSO 3x a week. I fell off around the holidays – but I’m back at it now! You can do t!
