We may be in the midst of a worldwide pandemic but that doesn’t mean I’m going to halt my skincare routine. If anything, I have some additional time to devote to it. While my skin routine may not be as involved as a 10-step+ Korean routine, I do make sure to include products and treatments that are beneficial to skin. Some of those products are from the Derma E Vitamin C collection.

Derma E is a California-based natural skincare line that uses clean ingredients and is vegan, cruelty-free, and GMO-free. They offer several collections with good-for-skin natural ingredients for any and every skin concern.
The Derma E Vitamin C collection is packed with, you guessed it, vitamin C which has some really good antioxidant properties to help brighten and smooth the complexion. I’ve used a few products from this collection, including their Micellar Cleansing Water and Wipes and was impressed with the line.
Recently, I’ve been trying out a cleanser, serum and eye gels from the line & incorporating them into my routine:
Step 1: Cleanse
The Derma E Vitamin C Gentle Daily Cleansing Paste is a gentle exfoliating facial cleanser with golden turmeric to brighten and ancient rice to exfoliate skin. I thought this was going to be weird since it has a runny clay-like consistency but I’m hooked.
It’s great for sensitive skin as it’s very gentle. It has a very light citrus scent and I love that it leaves my skin feeling smooth. I can’t wait to see long-term results with this!
Step 2: Hydrate
After cleansing, I apply a serum such as the Derma E Vitamin C Concentrate Serum, to skin. This serum has hyaluronic acid to hydrate and a stabilized vitamin C to brighten skin along with probiotics.
My first impressions of this serum are that it’s on the sticky side so I’m curious to see longer-term effects and if the stickiness of the product is worth it for me. I do like that the serum contains probiotics which is helpful to boost skin’s immunity thereby decreasing breakouts.
3. Brighten Eyes
I am a sucker for good eye gels and happy to reveal that the Derma E Vitamin C Bright Eyes Hydro Gel Patches are fantastic! They are loaded with a moisture-rich gel that contains allantoin to smooth skin, caffeine to reduce puffiness and vitamin C and B3 to brighten and target wrinkles.
I applied these for about 10 minutes to allow the gel to seep into my skin and do it’s thing. My eyes felt refreshed– I’ll be keeping these in my skincare fridge for an extra cool zing! The only con is that I applied my facial moisturizer on after these and caused the gel to bead off my skin. I would recommend applying after moisturizer to prevent this from happening.
These Derma E vitamin C products can all be purchased online or from your favorite mass retailer such as ULTA or Target. Have you tried any products from Derma E?
