One of my blogging homies Fashionista Momma recently shared five places she wants to travel again and it sparked me to create my own travel bucket list. I’m rounding up 5 places I’ve never been and want to travel to… all within the US. I’ve had these places on my bucket list for some time now and am hoping to get to at least a couple before the end of the year. The best part? No passport required!
Read on for my top 5 places to travel in the US>>
Nashville

Live music, Southern food and hospitality… what’s not to love about Nashville? From what I’ve looked up there’s tons of cute shops and boutiques, eateries (sweet tea and biscuits- yes, please!), museums and of course tons of bars and live music venues.
While out that way, I’d also love to venture over to Memphis for some BBQ and see the home of the King.
Washington DC

I’m actually somewhat embarrassed to admit that I am 35 years old and have never been to my nations capitol… whoops! There’s so much rich history, museums and things to see and do in D.C. I don’t think I would be bored for even a second!
Sedona

I was hoping to plan a one-year anniversary excursion to Sedona this year for a long weekend getaway. For us, it’s just a few hours away! The landscape looks absolutely incredible– it would be so fun to go out on a Jeep excursion or just get some quality RnR time in by the resort pool.
I’ll let you all in on another secret… I’ve never been to the Grand Canyon either! I would definitely try to work that into this trip as well.
New England

My family is from the Salem, Massachusetts area– just outside Boston. Again, I’m embarrassed to admit that as many times as I’ve been to the East Coast, I’ve never been to New England. I would absolutely love to visit in the fall season to experience the gorgeous colors and stay in a charming little B&B.
Seattle

Even though I’m on the same coast, I’ve never been to Seattle, or anywhere in the PNW for that matter. On my list for Seattle is the Pike Place Market, Space Needle, seeing Mount Rainier and more.
