As summer winds down, I wanted to create a glowing look that would transition well into fall. Its light, simple but does not lack on the glow factor! All of the products featured can be purchased at Target, including this limited edition face palette. Keep scrolling down for my how-to video at the end of this post!

To start, I applied L’Oreal True Match Lumi Glotion all over my face to give it a glow. I love that this product gives skin a pretty natural glow without looking shimmery while hydrating skin. When I find that my skin is on the dull side, I apply this and it immediately brightens. This glow enhancer is lightweight and is not heavy on the skin at all. My skin is on the drier side so I don’t use primer. Instead, this product gives it a dewy glow.
For foundation, I applied the Covergirl Clean Fresh Skin Milk Foundation. No joke, I’m pretty sure this is the first Covergirl product I have used since middle school when the powder compacts were a must. Pretty sure I was applying the wrong shade. I wasn’t a fan of Covergirl products for years, truthfully I thought they had a horrible smell.
I’m glad I gave this foundation a try, I actually like it and happy to report it does not stink. This foundation is from Covergirl’s newer clean and vegan collection. The foundation is lightweight, hydrating and evens out skin tone nicely. It provides light coverage so if you need full coverage, this is not the foundation for you. If you like barely there foundation and dewy skin I would recommend giving this a try!
Since the foundation is light coverage, some extra concealing is needed. For a drugstore option, I really like the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer as it provides really good full coverage and blends into skin nicely. It has a rounded soft-tip applicator to easily conceal under eyes and around the nose.
The Coty Airspun Loose Face Powder is a cult-favorite and I can see why! I used this powder to bake and set my base and it worked wonderfully. My skin felt smooth, didn’t look powdery and my concealer and foundation stayed in place. The only con with this powder is that it does have a strong “old lady” floral scent that I wish they would update or just do away with. Luckily it dissipates so your face won’t be smelling like cheap perfume all day.
Butter Bronzer is my go-to bronzer– I’ve used others but they just don’t compare! Target exclusively offers the Physicians Formula Butter Collection x Weylie, a palette with 6 Butter shades- 2 Butter Bronzers, 2 limited edition Butter Blushes and 2 limited edition Butter Highlighter shades. All for the same price as a single Butter Bronzer! I could have used this palette for my entire cheek look but wanted to try out some different products. How gorgeous are these shades though?!?
I applied Butter Bronzer in ‘Sunset Bronzer’ below my cheeks and blended out. This shade is darker than what I typically wear, but made for a great contour. I then applied the shade ‘Deep Bronzer’ on my eyelids. I’m all for products that can pull double-duty and this makes a great neutral shade for eyes!
I’ve been super curious about the Burt’s Bees Blush for a few years now and finally gave it a try. I opted for the shade “Bare Peach”, which is a true peach shade with just the subtlest amount of shimmer to give it a satin finish. It contains vitamin E, honey (of course!) and bamboo which makes it not only nourishing for skin but easy to blend as well.
For highlighter, I went with one of my go-to’s, the Wet n Wild Megaglo Highlighting Powder in Blossom Glow. This pretty pink pearly highlighter gives off a beautiful sheen without looking super shimmery- it gives the perfect glow! It’s super affordable at under $5. I like using a fan brush to apply to the high points of my face such as cheekbones, nose and brow bone. Using my fingers, I also applied this highlighter to the inner corners of my eyes and center of lids to add dimension. So pretty!
For brows, I applied e.l.f. Wow Brow Gel sweeping in an upwards motion for a feathery, fuller brow look. If you’ve been on the hunt for a Boy Brow dupe, this is extremely close. This brow gel contains fibers that stick to brow hairs to create the look of fuller brows. Best part? it’s only $4.
The L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara has become my go-to drugstore mascara, you can read more about it in my roundup of best drugstore mascaras. I find that this mascara both volumizes and lengthens my lashes nicely for a full lash look. It is very similar to a prestige version in a similar colored tube but a fraction of the price.
I finished the look by applying Maybelline Lifter Gloss to my lips. When I first picked this up, I honestly didn’t think I would like it but that isn’t the case. The gloss is infused with hyaluronic acid and is designed to give the look of a fuller, plumper pout. I have thin lips and unfortunately no lip product will give me full lips, however I do love the look and effect of this gloss.
I chose the shade ‘Moon’, which is a pretty nude-pink with super fine, barely there shimmer. It gives a pretty, super glossy look without being super shimmery. I also love the packaging- a soft peach-pink cap and clear tube, it’s very chic looking!
