A Snow White Halloween

When I was a tot, Snow White’s Scary Adventure ride at Disneyland absolutely terrified me. Especially the part where the queen whips around as the old woman with the poisoned apple. For a three or four-year-old that’s scary stuff! This Halloween, I wanted to pay homage to one of my favorite tales with a Snow White inspired outfit.

I had so much fun creating this look with the pretty soft makeup featuring blushed cheeks and a bold red lip. The pop of red between the lips, apple and headband really stands out against the dullness of the dark forest. We found the perfect spot in the canyon to take these photos– luckily it was right off the road because there was no way I could hike around in these heels! 

This floral dress is not only perfect for this look but it’s actually the Snow White dress from the LC Lauren Conrad Disney collection!  This collection was available at Kohl’s a few years ago and featured Disney-inspired styles. Unfortunately this collection is no longer available, however you may get lucky and find these pieces on Poshmark (where I bought this dress!) or other used clothing marketplace. I love that I can wear this dress anytime, although the dark floral pattern is especially perfect for the fall season.
