My favorite part of my weekends are having a cup of coffee while watching Food Network, especially my favorite show The Pioneer Woman. I happened to catch an episode where Ree makes these adorable and delicious-looking waffle fry sliders and just had to re-create them.
Boy, these did not disappoint! It’s such a fun take on the traditional burger and fries. These are perfect for game day munchies, kid-friendly appetizers or even to serve up for brunch.

These Waffle Fry Sliders were a cinch to make! I used our griddle to grill up the mini burger patties quickly but you can easily make these on the stove. I’m a nut for waffle fries and use the Member’s Mark Southern Style Waffle Fries from the frozen section at Sam’s Club.
We enjoyed these sliders for lunch– they paired perfectly with a nice, cold Lagunitas Sumpin’ Ale beer!
Waffle Fry Sliders
Adapted from The Pioneer Woman
Ingredients:
Waffle Fries
1 lb. Ground Beef
1 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 tsp Seasoning Salt
1/2 tsp. Lemon Pepper
1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp. Ground Pepper
2 TBSP. Vegetable Oil
2-3 slices of Cheese (I used American but cheddar, pepper jack, or your favorite works!), quartered
Butter Lettuce, cut into smaller pieces
Red Onion, sliced
Condiments: Ketchup, Mayo, Mustard
Tomatoes, sliced
Pickles, sliced
Directions:
Bake the waffle fries in the oven according to package directions.
Combine ground beef , Worcestershire sauce and seasonings in a bowl. Using your hands, form into small patties (approximately 8-10 patties). Heat vegetable oil in a skillet or griddle & add patties. Cook patties for about 3 minutes and then flip to the other side. Top each slider patty with a quarter slice of cheese & remove from skillet.
To build the sliders, top the bottom fry with a piece of lettuce, add condiments followed by the onions, the beef patty with cheese, tomato slice and pickle. Top with another waffle fry & secure with a toothpick. Enjoy!
