Anyone else already starting to suffer from that dreaded dry winter skin & hair? This week, I’m sharing some of my favorites from SheaMoisture that have been a godsend, especially for dryness. I started using this brand a couple years ago and quickly fell in love– the products are quality but very budget-friendly. The line incorporates good-for-skin ingredients such as coconut oil, hemp, Manuka honey, African black soap, shea butter, marula oil and more.
African Heritage
If you are not familiar with the line, SheaMoisture was found in the early 90’s in Harlem. The line was inspired the founder’s grandmother who sold shea butter and African black soap in a village market in Sierra Leone in 1912. The brand focuses on inclusivity, sustainability and safety. Products are cruelty-free, clean and do not contain harmful ingredients.

Skin Hydration

When it comes to facial wipes, they are not all made equal. The SheaMoisture 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Daily Hydration Facial Wipes, however, are excellent. They gently remove makeup and leave skin feeling soft and hydrated. The disposable wipes are infused with 100% virgin coconut oil, coconut milk, aloe, and shea butter and are best for normal or dry skin types. They are also biodegradable and environmentally friendly.
The SheaMoisture 100% Pure Jamaican Black Castor Oil is next level & an oil that is a must for your beauty routine. This multitasking oil can be used from head to toe.. literally! It’s super moisturizing and rich in Omega 9 fatty acids. It supports healthy hair growth so you can apply to hair (I recommend mixing it in your favorite hair mask) and even apply to brows and lashes.
I like to use a spoolie brush to sweep through my brows and onto my lashes to help nourish & promote growth. I did notice within a week that both my brow and lash hairs were stronger. If you’ve been thinking of trying a lash growth serum, I recommend trying this first. Plus, around $10 it will be a major cost-savings!
Radiant Glow
I discovered the SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Illuminating Body Butter this summer and quickly became hooked. This body butter is super moisturizing, gives skin a pretty radiance, and smells SO good! It has a luxe, thick formula with organic fair trade shea butter, coconut oil, hibiscus flower extract and vitamin E to hydrate and nourish skin. It’s fantastic for dry, ashy skin!
Hair Treatment
Last on my SheaMoisture love list is the SheaMoisture 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Daily Hydration Leave-In Treatment. I spray this into wet, clean hair to soften and hydrate my hair. It makes my hair feel silky soft and smells tropical and coconut-y. I also love that it helps protect against heat styling and keeps hair from getting frizzy. I recently included this product as part of my healthy hair care routine.
There is so much more I want to try from this line! SheaMoisture products are available at ULTA Beauty, Target, Walmart and more! Have you used this line? What products would you most want to try?

All of these sound like great products and I love the history you give with the African heritage. I am not familiar with Sheamoisture but I would love to try them out.
I’m so obsessed with the Shea moisture hair treatment! Their products are so great.
Oh wow! I thought they only did hair stuff. I’ll have to try their face and body lines!
