Can’t stop, won’t stop with all the beauty that is the fall season. They say the trees don’t change color in Southern California. However, that’s not true! A couple weeks ago, I drove up to Oak Glen, Calif. to take in all the gorgeous fall colors. This Madewell dress was perfect against these beautiful trees!

Looking to take beautiful fall photos of your own? Google has a fall color map and it will show you where to find fall foliage. It even has a key to help you determine where the best colors will be– or if you missed the key peak season. Major kudos to the person who created this map! I highly recommend you check to see if there is a fall color map where you live.

Here’s some tips if you’re taking fall photos:

• Bring a couple different outfits. Solids work best but larger patterns (such as this Madewell floral dress) will work too
• Props are a must! Bring hats, blankets, baskets, etc.
• Be patient- there may be other people taking photos at the same spot. Wait your turn and then go for it!

This floral Madewell dress has become one of my favorites! It’s actually from a couple seasons ago, but I came across this dress on Poshmark and had to have it. I love how the rust orange color and floral pattern ties in with the beautiful fall foliage. I’ve been trying to be more mindful of my clothing purchases. I love that with Poshmark I can find some great pre-loved items and sell some of my own. I am all for sustainable fashion!
