A couple weeks ago, Steve and I made the trek up to Southern Utah to visit a few national parks and do some sight-seeing. On our last day, we drove along highway 14 from Duck Creek Village to Cedar City. The fall foliage was absolutely gorgeous so we just had to stop and snap some photos! This Southern California girl is definitely not used to seeing such pretty fall trees.

This spot we pulled along leads into a trail head into the canyon. Called the Coal Creek Trail, this walking trail is about 3.5 miles along coal creek and leads into the beautiful red rock canyon. Unfortunately we didn’t take the trail or spend much time here but I would love to go back and explore more! We spent 5 days in Southern Utah and loved it! The scenery is absolutely beautiful and I’m so happy to have been able to experience a true fall.
With a 6+ hour car ride ahead of us, my outfit was all about being comfortable. With the wether being chilly in the 50’s and 60’s, a long cardigan, jeans and fluffy boots were the perfect option. Even though jeans may not seem like the most cozy option, these Mott & Bow jeans are stretchy and comfortable. They fit well and hug the right places but are not restricting or tight. Perfect for a long drive home!
