Cleanse
I take my face cleansing very seriously– once in the morning and a double cleanse in the evening. For my am routine, I like to use the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser as it is very gentle yet provides a good thorough cleanse. I have combination skin with surface dryness so I like that this cleanser doesn’t dry out my skin. It’s a lightweight gel formula and lathers nicely– I like to give myself a mini facial massage in the shower when applying. It helps to wake my skin up in the morning!
This pH-balanced cleanser features soy proteins to help improve elasticity, cucumber extract to cool and calm the skin, and aloe vera to soothe and hydrate. The cleanser has a soft cucumber scent and it is not overpowering at all. It leaves my skin feeling soft, hydrated and clean. I have tried other cleansers but always come back to this one!

Glow
When it comes to vitamin C skincare products that work well, Sunday Riley C.E.O. Glow Vitamin C + Turmeric Face Oil tops the list. It is on the pricier side but it is worth the investment. It instantly brightens my skin and provides such a pretty glow! I apply it in the morning after moisturizer as the last step in my skin routine, taking the extra time to really massage it into my skin.
I love that it is super lightweight and absorbs quickly, it doesn’t just sit on the skin and make it look oily. The face oil includes a blend of advanced vitamin C (THD ascorbate, which is stable and oil-soluble), golden turmeric oil that improves skin evenness, ginger root extract, and evening primrose oil.
I’ve noticed some slight dark spots on my skin so I’m hoping this will help to even my skin in those areas in the longterm. Already my skin looks less dull and has a healthy glow. If you’ve been looking for a good vitamin C face oil to add to your skincare routine, I highly recommend this!
Moisturize
I had heard some buzz about the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream Moisturizer but thought, “it’s a makeup brand, it can’t be that good.” Well, I was wrong and I am happy to admit it! This moisturizer is best for dry skin as it packs some super hydrating properties, including hyaluronic acid. It also contains a peptide complex to target wrinkles and fine lines so it’s good for those concerned with aging and mature skin. Makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury created this to moisturize and plump her celeb clients and model’s skin and it certainly delivers.
The formula is ultra silky, rich and luxe feeling– it’s thick but easy to gently massage into skin. I love how it immediately hydrates my skin so it’s great to wear under makeup when you want a flawless base. The jar is beautiful and I love that the brand offers refills so you can keep and re-use the jar.
It is very pricey so taking advantage of the Sephora Spring Sale event will help ease the wallet pain!
Tone & Brighten
Toners can often be forgotten in skin routines but I’m a fan and use toners often. One of my go-to toners is the Dr. Zenovia Vitamin C Brightening Toner. I apply this in the morning after cleansing to refresh my skin and prep it to receive following skin treatments.
It contains a blend of vitamin C (water soluble L-Abscorbic Acid), micro-nutrient sea salt to neutralize pore-clogging impurities, and a blend of actives such as bakuchiol, resveratrol, vitamin E, green tea to target signs of aging.
With having combination skin, I do experience hormonal acne on the lower half of my face. Dr. Zenovia products are designed to treat hormonal acne to remove impurities from skin and help prevent breakouts. I like that this not only helps to brighten and tone skin, but neutralizes pores as well.
